These terms apply when you use evenpup, an app run by an independent developer in Singapore ("we"). By using evenpup you agree to them. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your data.
What evenpup does, and doesn't do
- evenpup keeps a shared record of costs in a group, works out who owes who, and makes PayNow QR codes so people can pay each other.
- evenpup never holds, sends or receives money. Every payment is made by you, in your own bank app, directly to another person. We aren't a bank or a payment service, and we can't reverse, refund or trace a payment.
- Before you pay, check the name your bank app shows for the person you're paying. If it isn't who you expect, don't pay.
- Balances are only as accurate as what your group records. Agreeing on amounts, and sorting out any disagreement, is between the members of the group.
It's a beta
evenpup is still being built. Things may change, break or be removed, and it's provided as it is, without promises that it will always be available or free of mistakes. Please tell us about problems at hello@evenpup.com.
Your account
- You need to be at least 13 to use evenpup.
- Keep access to your email, your phone and your evenpup passcode to yourself. You're responsible for what's done with your account.
- You can delete your account any time in the app (You → Delete my account).
Using evenpup fairly
Don't use evenpup to break the law, to deceive or harass people, to record payments that didn't happen, or to interfere with the app or other people's accounts. If you do, we may suspend or close your account.
Groups
What you add to a group is visible to its members. Group admins can invite and remove members and manage the group. When you leave a group or delete your account, what you shared stays with the group so its balances still add up.
Our responsibility
As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for losses from using evenpup, including payments made to the wrong person, wrong amounts, disagreements between members, or the app being unavailable. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under law that can't be excluded.
Changes
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and tell you in the app if the change matters. If you keep using evenpup after that, the new terms apply.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore.
